Finally, something that Mummy puts into Johann's mouth and he doesn't like.

First time today, Mummy saw Johann showing disinterest in the spoon that she was holding.

So spinach must be real yucky... haha...

Mummy will persevere and will let Johann try it again soon...

Failing today doesn't mean I'll fail the next time... haha

Yesterday, Johann got his first taste of oats...
He seems to like it...
Was amusing to watch the little fella trying to make out the taste of the oats the moment it went into his mouth...

Downgraded because Upgraded

The past few mornings, when Mummy awoke, she was greeted by a pair of curious eyes...
Little Johann will now prop himself up on all fours in his cot to check on Mummy and Daddy...And afterwards, starts "talking" to get our attention...Mummy was told by nenek that she caught this little fella reaching out and placing his hands on the side of the cot today...Trying to get a better view of his surroundings...Knowing the sheer strength this fella has, it'll be in no time that he'll be able to pull himself up...This little fella has definitely upgraded himself in terms of mobility...Mummy ain't taking any chances...Got Daddy to downgrade little Johann...Took out the bassinet and little Johann's sleeping area has been lowered... haha...

Check and Jab

Today, Johann was due for his 6 month's developmental check and 6-in-1 jab (ouch!)
We were off to KKH's Private Children Clinic to meet up with his PD, Dr Tan.
Due to some mix up, we were told at registration that we had no appointment scheduled as none was reflected in the system.
Luckily for us, Dr Tan was still around and so we managed to see him about an hour later.
Johann is developing well... And his juicy and fleshy right thigh suffered little when pierced with the needle... Brave little fella he was... Didn't cry...

Previously, I had posted that Johann was 69 cm and 8.5 kg...

Super error in the height...

Johann is 67.7 cm tall and 9.09 kg heavy...

This time, Mummy checked... hehe

Learning to crawl...

It'll be very soon that Little Johann will be crawling around...
(Before this, he had been crawling... in reverse gear... hahaha)
He's been practicing his first gear lately...
Propping himself up on all fours...
Then rocking himself front and back...
Had seen him move a step forward once or twice...
It is rather amusing seeing him practice...
He puts in loads of effort...
It's a real pity that this is difficult to capture on camera...

Drinking from a cup...

Lately, Little Johann has been real interested in Mummy's mugs or cups whenever she drank. Mummy decided to get him his own cup... Look at how well he is able to imitate Mummy drinking from the cup... So proud of the little fella... A fast learner indeed.
