1, 2, 3, 4, high 5!

Mummy taught Johann this little hand action a few weeks ago.

Daddy has been conscientiously practicing it with him.

Now, Johann can do it rather well... when he wants to that is...

Just say "high 5" with a raised hand facing him and he'll do the rest.

Brings much laughter and smile whenever he manages to do it successfully (",)

They finally did it!

Johann and his nai nai have taken countless photographs together.

But this is the very first with both of them looking at the camera. Finally!

Even with his nenek it's the same situation. I wonder why...
Will attempt to take shots of Johann and his nenek on Hari Raya eve.
Hopefully this time, we'll get one with both of them looking at the camera too!

Haircut!

With Hari Raya just a few days away, we brought Johann to Junior League for a hair cut today. He kept turning around. He was very interested in the lady's scissors. It was gold and shiny. haha. Other than that, he was rather well behaved and stayed seated on Daddy's lap throughout the haircut.

A pity the camera wasn't working at the time of the haircut. Mummy couldn't snap photos of the experience.

Johann looks so much neater with his new haircut. I think it brings out the cheekiness in him even more. hehe.

In Daddy's words, "At least now he doesn't look like a mad scientist." haha.

Will try fix the camera and snap photos of the little fella with his new haircut soon (",)

Botanical Garden

"We had our first family outing to the Botanical Gardens yesterday... As usual, I was sleeping almost half of the time... But I woke up eventually and didn't missed out on all the great fun that we had. What a day! Cool and occasionally windy though it was at 12.45 p.m.! Luckily Mummy bought a new singlet for me...Cool mann!! Check out the colors... I am a retro boy."

Yesterday...
Mummy had bought this CD "Best of Olivia" while at Great World City last evening...
Really no idea who this lady is...
Only knew that Mummy liked her style...
Her songs and voice very calming...
Great for easy listening...

Today...

Johann was cranky this morning...

He woke us up real early and expected Mummy to play with him...

After a while, it was evident that Johann was tired and ready for his nap...

Little fella started getting cranky as he can't fall asleep! (as usual)

Mummy tried all sorts of stuff but he was still awake... And cranky!

Decided to play the CD (Johann likes to listen to music)

Johann danced with Mummy to the music...

Soon enough...

He dozed off in Mummy's hands...

Hooray! Mummy did it...

Tried putting him down...

He immediately woke up...

It seems he wanted to listen to more... haha

Mummy indulged him and let him listen to more...

Again he dozed off almost immediately...

hmmm...Wonder how come this Olivia has such an effect on him...

Is her voice that calming? haha

Mummy put him down a second time and the same thing happened...

Had to repeat the whole process all over again!

But the third time round, I think he's heard enough...

Finally slept through after Mummy put him down in his cot...

Olivia, Olivia... Johann's new love... hehe

Geylang Si Paku Geylang

It's already the 17th day of the fasting month.
Daddy decided to bring us to Geylang and look see look see the lights and the bazaar...
Last fasting month, Johann was in Mummy's tummy...
Unknown to many... hehe
How time flies... A year has passed...

Daddy had another soccer game today. Today it's much nearer. At the Indian Association field. We put Johann in his stroller and took a walk there. More pictures...
